Jazzystics
This dynamic group was formed when keyboard player Max P. and his swish-loving drummer friend Felix decided to join the jazz version wave. They wanted to tease out and slow the melodies of some of their favorite pop hits and they found that pure soft female vocals were the missing element. So they invited a young emerging artist named Karen Souza to join them and the rest, they say, is history. Propelled to fame by their partnership on tracks like Depeche Mode's Personal Jesus and Kim Carnes timeless classic Bette Davis Eyes, the duo also invited the talented Cassandra Beck to join them as well. Her swinging rendition of Da Ya Think I'm Sexy? continues to be one of the group’s favorite recordings to date. When they are not jamming with their favorite lady friends, these guys can be found searching through record bins and drinking Cinzano, generally in that order.
