North Not South moves feet from east to west. Born as an idea between two friends coming from different musical backgrounds, where the love for breakbeat and mesmerizing sonic textures sparked the beginning of a new project. Broken, energetic and stinging are the words that would describe their sets and productions best. Recently they released their debut EP "Shifting Dunes" on Amsterdam-based label Flippen Bits, run by Monty DJ. A refined and emotionally resonant debut, the EP highlights the duo’s knack for blending mysterious atmospheres, euphoric builds, and meticulous sound design. North Not South share their love for electronic music not only on the dancefloor - as co-founders of the radio station Folder FM, they bring their vision to life. They’re just starting, stay close.
