Raincheck!

Raincheck! began in 2013 and was initially composed of five members. In 2014, the band changed drummers and Alex, who had previously been in the punk band Guerilla Poubelle, joined the adventure. The quintet then focused on composing new tracks in the vein of hardcore punk by No Idea Records or Jade Tree. These first misdeeds will give rise to the EP True Love in 2016 followed four years later by another EP Last Call. In the meantime, the successive line-up changes made the initial quintet one of the most motivated quartets, especially thanks to the arrival of Jan on bass. This new stability allowed the release in 2024 of the band's first album Highbro Lowbro where it tends to assert its self-proclaimed "neo-nü" identity, in an attempt to ironically go beyond its original hardcore punk by integrating slower tempos and more pop influences. In the meantime, the band has shared the bill with many international bands such as Lagwagon, Good Riddance or Frenzal Rhomb and continues to forge its own path in the pure DIY tradition. The album Highbro Lowbro was released in collaboration with a dozen international labels and Raincheck! does not intend to stop there with new titles in the works for 2026.
