Flotation Toy Warning
Flotation Toy Warning are an English space rock/chamber pop group who emerged in the early aughts with a versatile neo-psychedelic sound that evokes artists like Sparklehorse, Air, Mercury Rev, and the Flaming Lips. Comprised of vocalist Paul Carter, guitar and bass guitar players Ben Clay and Nainesh Shah, drummer Steve Swindon, and keyboardist Vicky West, the band formed in 2001 and released their debut long-player, Bluffer's Guide to the Flight Deck, three years later via London-based Pointy Records -- the LP arrived in the United States and France the following year. The group's sophomore full-length effort, Machine That Made Us, was released in 2017. ~ James Christopher Monger, Rovi
