Hudson Adrift is the alias of South Carolina-based Nu-gaze musician Hudson Simpson. In 2026 he released singles “Pareidolia” and “Tourniquet (feat. Aidan Barret)” to great support online and from the local music scene. Recording and producing out of his home studio, Hudson’s projects revolve around intense vulnerability tackling his own struggles with heartbreak, trauma, mental health, and existentialism. Hudson Adrift’s debut album Third Lung is set to release in the fall of 2026, including collaborations with his sister Autumn Simpson and musician friend Aidan Barrett. Performing as a 4-piece, Hudson Adrift is supported by musicians Aidan Barrett, Madison Darazs, and Ryley Danser. The group is preparing to perform their first show April 4th, 2026 supporting local grunge act Arsenik at their album release show in Lexington, SC alongside bands Unthreaded and Straightjacket. Hudson Adrift’s debut album Third Lung is set to release in the fall of 2026
