Cosmic Plunge

Cosmic Plunge is a doom metal band hailing from the captivating city of Heraklion, Crete. Formed in May 2010, the band shares a common vision about what their sound should be. They immediately started working on their own material, inspired by the last four decades of Rock, specifically Doom/Heavy Rock sound. CP’s priority is performing live to share their music and feelings they participated in lots of gigs in various locations all over Greece. in 17 November 2014, after gathering enough experience, they released their debut 7 song album “Wanderers On The Face Of The Earth,". Cosmic Plunge’s second attempt, “Dealing With The Harvester,” was released on March 6th 2019 and contains 6 songs. “Dealing With The Harvester” claims to be an amalgam of moribunds, capturing their last moments. Six chapters, each for every moribund who walks away to face their doom. As the years passed, Cosmic Plunge underwent changes within their ranks. In 2022, Dimitris parted ways with the band, making way for Mike (The Giant’s Fall, ex-Lucky Funeral, ex-Bone to rust) to take up the vocal duties. Panayotis, once on drums, transitioned to playing guitar, while John Tholos assumed the throne behind the drums. Despite the shifts, Cosmic Plunge continues to embrace their dark and evocative path, leaving a haunting impression on audiences, both locally and beyond, as they keep forging their legacy in the world of doom metal.
