Save The Robots
Bassist, re-editor, re-worker and remixer. Save the Robots is the creative moniker of the talented bassist, producer, remixer, and re-editor Robbie Dunne. Hailing from the vibrant city of Dublin and now residing in sunny Spain, Robbie has been making waves in the music scene since the mid-1990s (back when samplers ran on coal!). His journey into international acclaim kicked off under the name Spectrum is Green, where he made a mark with influential labels like Low Pressings, Plastic City, and Eukahouse. Not one to rest on his laurels, he teamed up with Johnny Moy to launch Headzinc and JMRS, dropping tracks on Plant NYC, Nang, and beyond. After taking a significant production hiatus, Robbie made a spectacular comeback with Save the Robots (named after the iconic NYC club—definitely not because he wants to rescue any actual robots!). This exciting project is currently riding a wave of success, boasting an impressive 60 Top 100 tracks last year alone on labels such as Pina Colada, Boogie Brunch, Pink Funk, Super Flux, Springbok, and more. And that's not all—he's got 50 more electrifying releases lined up in the pipeline for this year! @savetherobotsmusic
