Since 2017, Zaltsman has been a restless force in the UK underground — building dancefloors, nurturing communities, and blurring genre lines through his project Emergency Room. What began as a roaming party series across London, Bristol and Brighton evolved in 2023 into a fully fledged label, launched with an EP of his own. His productions — released via Peach Discs, Emergency Room, Borne Fruits and more — have landed in the sets of Midland, Saoirse, Ben UFO and Moxie. But it’s not just the names that matter — it’s the shape-shifting sound: playful but precise, familiar yet always off-centre. As a DJ, Zaltsman pulls from a wide and unpredictable range. His sets are dynamic, genre-fluid, and rooted in the art of recontextualisation — connecting the dots between scenes, eras and moods in unexpected ways.
