The Souly Bird
The German singer The Souly Bird was born and raised in Berlin but has spent a decade of her life on the African continent. After several years in Angola during her childhood and in Benin during recent years, she is now living in Ghana (Accra) for almost four years and has since pursued a very exciting journey of discovering her passion for African pop music. 2023 was the year of her first collaboration on an album, the Showtime Album produced by Ivorien / Ghanaian artist Crazy Keys. Since 2024, she expanded in her multifaceted German-Ghanaian collaborations, of which the current new Singles with the rising Ghanaian star Abochi are an outstandingly lyrical German version of the West African Afrobeats. Once you listen to her signature element - a unique and soulfully crystalline voice - you want to discover more about that cross culture artist, who describes herself as being inspired by freedom & fairytales.
