Sam Allan
A polished, mainstream hypertechno artist.
Soaring meteorically on account of his powerful production prowess, highly acclaimed DJ and producer Sam Allan continues to make waves through the BBC world of electronic music. The New York native fuses a refreshing mix of progressive and melodic elements, with bass-filled textures and floor- ready beats, crafting a unique signature sound taking inspiration from the worlds of main-stage, progressive house, techno, and Melodic. Gaining inspiration from the early sounds of Sasha, John Digweed, and Paul Van Dyk, Sam first started to play locally for restaurant brunch parties, following medical advice to abandon a potential hockey career. His new-found switch from the ice rink to the ice bucket, saw him dominating NYC clubs by 2014, and in 2015 - after a successful entry into a mix competition hosted by Ferry Corsten and Markus Schulz - the staten islander gained his big break, playing at legendary venues like Pacha, Avant Gardner and even a residency slot at Marquee New York’s epic ‘New Year’s Eve Ball Drop’ with Kascade in 2019 and Afrojack in 2021. In recent times, he supported Eric Prydz, alongside Cristoph, at the Swede’s iconic Holo NYC event. Outside the Big Apple, Allan is fresh from performances at Miami Music Week, a support slot on Tinlicker’s North America tour, and a summer. Residency at Cavo Paradiso in Mykonos. Sam Allan continues to shine brightly, with headline shows on the horizon all over the world!
