Ermal Meta is an Albanian-Italian musician. His music combines pop melodies, and smooth, swooning vocals. Meta was born in Fier, Albania in 1981 and moved with his family to Bari, Italy when he was 13. After the experience as a member of the band Ameba4 and La Fame Di Camilla during the 2000s, He embarked on a solo career in 2013 releasing four studio albums and winning the Sanremo Festival 2018 in partnership with Fabrizio Moro. In the same year, he represented Italy at the Eurovision Song Contest, held in Lisbon. In 2024, he released the fifth album titled "Buona Fortuna."
