Shadow Mo Trio is a groove-based jazz fusion band from Belgium, formed in 2024. The trio consists of Steven Taelman (keys/synths), Felix De Clerck (bass), and Dajo Vlaeminckx (drums). Their music blends intricate modern jazz harmonies with laid-back grooves and plenty of room for improvisation. Steven’s compositions bring together elements of jazz, hip hop, drum & bass, and whatever feels right in the moment. From the first moment they played together, they felt a deep chemistry. With that natural connection, they immediately dove into the studio to capture their spontaneous energy and groove. For them, it’s all about the vibe—no rush, no fuss, just good music to get lost in. Inspired by Robert Glasper , Jazzbois , Alfa Mist , Yussef Dayes , Kamaal Williams , Moses Yoofee Trio , Chick Corea , Keith Jarrett , Weather Report , Michael Brecker , and aaaaaaall the other musicians they like to listen to!
