Dellera

Dellera is the stage name of Roberto Dell’Era, an Italian singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist born on September 7, 1968, in Lombardy. Looking for an escape, he moved to Dublin in 1993, then joined his street busker friend Jason Endson in Birmingham. He lived in the UK until 2005, during which he founded the band Love Trip, earning recognition as an emerging act. During that period, he also played with Solar Flares and Phoney, touring the United States and gaining experience on the international scene. Returning to Italy in 2005, he collaborated with Diego Mancino and joined Afterhours in 2006 at the invitation of frontman Manuel Agnelli. Alongside his work with the band, he is also known for his solo career and as a member of the jazz-rock/Canterbury trio The Winstons, with Enrico Gabrielli and Lino Gitto. As a solo artist, Dellera has released two acclaimed albums: Colonna sonora originale (2011) and Stare bene è pericoloso (2015), both praised for their originality and sonic experimentation. He has also composed two soundtracks, for Film Rosa (directed by Silvia Bertocchi) and Still Here (by Suranga Katugampala), and over the years has collaborated with Daniele Silvestri, Rachele Bastreghi (Baustelle), Nic Cester (Jet), Dente, and many others.
