A captivating rock rhythm with a unique voice, and a hint of folk, the duo Bliss on the Stars, perfecting their music for several years, is now ready to share it with a wider audience. It is made up with Olivier Matamoros guitarist composer and singer composer songwriter Hélène John-William, a versatile artist proficient in many mediums. She is also a dancer, an actor, a painter, and a playwright. Their first EP was released during the pandemic on spinnup plate-forme. Including the single "Bliss on the Stars", arranged by Jean Sully Ledermann. The duo first formed more than 10 years ago. Their earliest songs arose as creations for Hélène's dance chorégraphies. Their music is inspired by music from the 60s and 70s, and influenced by artists and bands like Patti Smith, Lana del Rey, the Whitestripes, and Goldfrapp. The duo are also inspired by their trips to the USA, Asia, Greece, Italy. But, also by their" inner journeys ". The duo practise and teach yoga and meditation. Hélène enjoy also learning about psychology and world philosophy. Through their music, they wish to expand the minds and open the hearts of their listeners in a gentle and thoughtful manner. They explore the meaning of freedom and relationships and send a message full of hope and love.
