ZYHH
No reinvention, she’s just getting closer. Previously releasing as Lizzy, now moving as ZYHH. This year she’s releasing a series of singles leading into her upcoming project. Blending music, storytelling, acting and visuals, she builds worlds shaped by her past and present. Somewhere between the softness of Aaliyah and the honesty of SZA, Dutch singer/songwriter ZYHH is carving out her own space. She works between her own DIY studio and Wisseloord Studios, because she knows how to make something intimate and something that lasts. She’s going for both. But not everything fits into a song. LYCHEES, her self-made online magazine, lives alongside the music. Part diary, part parallel world. A place for the thoughts that stay unfinished, the ones that don’t resolve in three minutes. And somewhere in the background there’s musical. Not a distant idea, but something she keeps returning to. Sketching. Reshaping. Making it more her own. It’s all connected. ZYHH is building something. You can hear it before you can fully see it.
