Galexi

GALEXI is a cosmic synth pop band from the planet Issia. They take elements of tribal music and trip hop and weave them together like Bjork meets Dead Can Dance. Their music video of the Pink Floyd Cover of, “Us and Them” may or may not include alien angels. GALEXI is the auditory co-creation of Jo Alexis and Alexander Johnson who together have developed a music all their own. Jo’s vocal stylings offer up raw character, even at her airiest and most unearthly. Her intonations are those of the High Priestess - riding the complex and electronically-instrumental textures of Alex’s High Science. Together with Peter Rockwell on bass, they create a musical tapestry that transports the mind while inspiring and delighting the senses.
