Mino has collaborated with Miles Davis, Sting, Stevie Wonder, Weather Report, Pat Metheny, Herbie Hancock, Kate Bush, Dizzy Gillespie, Claude Nougaro, Alain Bashung, Vicente Amigo, Salif Keita, Lou Reed, Brandford Marsalis, Anna Maria Jopek, to name few... Considered as one of the greatest and most innovative percussionists in the world, Mino Cinelu developed his musical prowess early on, learning the guitar as a child, and later embracing “drums and percussion”, thereby cementing his career as a professional musician by age fifteen.
