Life Symbols is the project of Sam Mitchell, a Brooklyn-based DJ and producer, focused on making soulful house music with a cinematic feel. His influences stem from ’90s and early 2000s dance music and a distinct love for groovy, warm, and organic sounds and samples. As his second album, Imagine a World (2026) creates an 11-track love-letter to house music and the summer, and revives his focus toward DJ-oriented, club-ready productions. His debut release Progression (2024) reflected a more eclectic range of styles and inspirations, curated as a cohesive, start-to-finish listening experience to reflect personal growth and universally shared life experiences.
