Weite is an instrumental psychedelic/70's style progressive rock band from Berlin. Weite was formed in Berlin in winter 2022 by Ingwer Boysen recruiting Nick DiSalvo (Elder, delving), Michael Risberg and Ben Lubin (Lawns) - all of which are multiinstrumental players. Initially intended as a one-off recording session, the four recognized an obvious musical chemistry and common ground and decided to turn the project into a proper band. After the release of the first album "Assemblage", the lineup solidified in terms of instrument roles and keyboardist Fabien de Menou (Perilymph) joined as a full time member. The band's second album "Oase" was released on Stickman Records in 2025 and received high accolades including Record of the Month from Visions Magazin.
