Born in 2005 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Maia Kalwill introduced herself to the musical world as an artist challenging conventional genres. Daughter of producers and recording engineers, she spent most of her childhood in studios and grew up surrounded by musicians. Having observed so many artists, Maia developed a natural interest in getting involved in the production of her own songs. At the age of 14 she began her career singing with the hip-hop group That Kid Is You and at 16 she began to write her own album “STOP THE CLOCK”
