Ever since Tuur Mevis (Mayvision) came into this realm in physical form on December the 13th, 1998, he was on a mission. Soon enough he realized that he had a different way of looking at life. Due to his shyness and being an introvert in a reality that didn't support his authenticity and unique way of seeing and doing things, he lost a lot of himself. When the young 'Mayvision' was 14 however, he started writing raps over YouTube instrumentals, and slowly but surely started reclaiming his voice, which supported him to speak up more. He immediately fell in love with the craft, and started pursuing a career as an artist. In 2015 he got into the Rijn Ijssel Music Academy for Performing Arts in Arnhem, The Netherlands, and officially graduated as a rapper in 2018. What stood out to him was playing covers 2 times a week, with different classmates. Mayvision's personal assignment was to write and perform new lyrics to all those covered songs, across all genres and time periods in musical history. From 1940's blues to 2010's pop music and all things inbetween. He got praised by artists such as Hopsin & Killah Priest, and has worked with Sa-Roc, Sol Messiah, CTD Movement & more.
