Roger Roger
An underground, nostalgic exotica artist.
Roger Roger was a prolific French composer of soundtrack music whose work encompassed themes for radio, television, commercials, cartoons, and live productions. Primarily, however, he scored films -- over 500 by his own count. Despite the breadth of his output, none of Roger's work was made commercially available until 1996, when the Netherlands' Metropole Orchestra recorded an album of his compositions entitled Grands Travaux. Sadly, Roger himself did not live to see the album's release -- he died June 12, 1996, at the age of 83. ~ Jason Ankeny, Rovi
