Sola Rosa

Sola Rosa is the long-running project of Auckland-based producer, songwriter, and musician Andrew Spraggon—one of Aotearoa’s most inventive musical voices. Across two decades, he has shaped a blend of electronic, R&B, funk, soul, and hip-hop-influenced groove, earning a loyal global following, acclaimed collaborators such as Tall Black Guy, Hermitude, and DJ Vadim, and reaching audiences worldwide via streaming platforms. In 2025, Sola Rosa continues to evolve with the new single Jupiter—a shimmering, groove-driven track featuring longtime collaborator Iva Lamkum, reuniting over a decade after their first release together. With additional instrumentation from Kenji Iwamitsu-Holdaway and mixing by Simon Gooding (Pink, TEEKS, Neil Finn, Dua Lipa), Jupiter is sleek, rhythmic, and uplifting—a tune built for late-night drives and the dancefloor.
