Born & raised in New Jersey with roots in India, Southeast Africa, London, and Toronto, he draws from an array of musical influences. RUSHIL started his journey at age 6 with a combination of Hindustani Classical and Pop music. Over time, he has excelled as a vocalist, songwriter, producer & DJ, all contributing to his differentiated creative process. At just 24 years old, RUSHIL has amassed 125K+ followers and 700K+ streams, worked with multiple labels across the world, India’s largest record label on the Bollywood movie “Rocky Aur Rani”, and had his music placed in the professional sports world. Drawing inspiration from the world’s biggest stars from Pop and R&B along with an array of global soundscapes, RUSHIL is shaping his own, unique sonic world: a Pop/R&B forward sound harmoniously blending a myriad of culturally influenced inspirations through vocal centric melodies, “larger than life” soundscapes, and lyrical depth.
