An underground glitch artist.
Piotr Chęcki is a Polish saxophonist, composer, and producer exploring the boundaries of sound, improvisation, and form. His music combines acoustic and electronic elements, placing the saxophone in unexpected and often experimental contexts. Following his intimate debut album PE, he released EY AY (Deluxe Slay Jazz)—a live album recorded in a single take with drummer Tymek Papior and pianist Marcel Baliński, embracing spontaneity, interaction, and authenticity. Chęcki is also known for his work with Nene Heroine and Hinode Tapes. Across all his projects, he treats music as a space for presence, colour, and the interpretation of reality.
CHĘCKI plays experimental electronic jazz and nu jazz, blending acoustic saxophone improvisation with glitchy electronic textures.
