Cosmo Dance

Cosmo Dance is the musical project of Italian DJ and producer Cosimo Mandorino, founder of the record label Mirella. Deeply inspired by the Italian sound of the early 1980s, he translates that era’s warmth, romance and cinematic atmosphere into a contemporary form of electronic disco music. Blending cosmic disco, Italo and 80s-inspired electronic sounds, his music combines vintage drum machines, melodic synthesizers and Mediterranean atmospheres into a warm, nostalgic yet dancefloor-driven aesthetic. Drawing inspiration from Balearic culture, obscure Italian records and the legacy of cosmic disco, his productions evoke sunsets, late-night journeys and the timeless romance of Mediterranean landscapes. Through releases, DJ sets and collaborative projects, Cosmo Dance continues to explore a sound suspended between nostalgia, rhythm and cinematic moods. His latest release, Mr Coconut, further expands this vision through tropical grooves, cosmic textures and sun-drenched electronic rhythms.
