A nostalgic, underground indie pop artist.
Duxius – the music project of Edyta Rogowska-Żak (aka Didi) – is a Berlin-based act that fuses fearless songwriting with raw stage presence. Its sound, which Didi calls Polish Future Retro, merges nostalgia with modern authenticity, creating music that dares to be both fragile and flamboyant. The debut album Remanence (2022) introduced this vision, with the single “Dziki Bez” praised by legendary radio host Marek Niedźwiecki. Since then, Duxius has grown into a cross-cultural live trio, with Didi on voice and keys, joined by bass and drums. Their concerts are more than performances — they are shared experiences of rhythm, presence, and emotional connection. Duxius has performed at Waves Vienna Festival (2024) and delivered a standout show at Music Week Poland (2025), gaining international recognition for originality and vitality. The project also received a jury distinction at Festival FAMA, one of Poland’s most celebrated interdisciplinary festivals for emerging artists. In June 2025, Duxius released “Czerwiec”, the first single from the upcoming EP Polish Future Retro recorded at the Tricone Studios in Berlin’s legendary Funkhaus. This new record captures the raw fire of Duxius on stage. Recognized by Music Export Poland for her artistic vision and international development, Didi now continues to carry Polish Future Retro to bigger stages and broader audiences — music that is emotional, multilingual, and impossible to box in.
Duxius plays a genre-defying blend of indie pop, electronic production, and theatrical retro sounds known as Polish Future Retro.
Duxius is based in Berlin, Germany, with creative roots stemming from Poland.
