Ein Underground-Jazz-Act.
French-Brazilian guitarist and composer Edwin Correia is an artist deeply passionate about musical cross-pollination. He transcends aesthetic boundaries and embraces eclecticism. From a very young age, he absorbed the codes of jazz, improvisation, and blues, while also drawing from the folk traditions of Pernambuco, reflecting his Brazilian roots. His playing naturally brings these influences together, blending the creativity of jazz, the soul of Brazil’s Northeast, Afro-descendant roots, and a subtle touch of electronic effects.
