An underground, nostalgic baroque artist.
Espuma Antigua, it’s the ancient foam, which dives deep into the sea to find an ancient music, a timeless song, and brings it back to the shore of the present, mixed by the wind and the salt, for the ears of today. Their first album, 'Spleen baroque', honored the forgotten women composers of the 17th century. As a quartet for their second album, Espuma Antigua continues to experiment and break down classical vocabulary with 'Continuo'. This new opus pays tribute to the earth and traditional culture, expanding their musical exploration between tradition and contemporary eclecticism.
Espuma Antigua creates a unique blend of ancient music, baroque, and traditional sounds, infused with contemporary jazz and folk elements, often exploring forgotten historical compositions.
