Felipe Fournier

Felipe Fournier is a Latin Grammy-winning vibraphonist, percussionist, and producer whose work lives at the intersection of storytelling and Afro-Caribbean rhythm. Born in Costa Rica and based in New York City, he blends jazz tradition with contemporary Latin culture to create immersive musical worlds. He is the co-creator of Supermambo, a comic-book salsa universe developed with Jeremy Bosch and narrated by Rubén Blades — the story of a Bronx hero whose drum transforms lives. The project reflects Fournier’s artistic vision: music as narrative, identity, and collective power. Whether performing, arranging, or directing, Fournier approaches sound as a cinematic language — honoring Latin roots while pushing them into new spaces where rhythm, imagination, and culture collide.
