Tracks5
Hala Strana is the evocative recording project of American musician Steven R. Smith, dedicated to exploring and reinterpreting the traditional folk music of Eastern Europe. Blending drone, neofolk, and ambient elements, the project creates richly layered soundscapes with a melancholic and atmospheric depth. Smith incorporates diverse instrumentation, drawing from the village music of regions like Hungary and Romania to craft a unique, experimental folk sound.
