An underground new age artist.
“I grew up singing from my carseat. I went on to study classical and jazz vocals, toured Europe with a children's choir and performed on Connecticut’s main stage in Carmen the Opera before moving to Los Angeles. I was a self-taught piano player with tons of vocal training, so I decided to go to a music school and learn production. In 2014 I released my first single, Tearing Us Apart which caught the attention of music supervisors. Upon graduating music school I won the “Most Outstanding Style” award. Tearing Us Apart has been featured in shows on many networks such as MTV, ABC, FreeForm and BBC." "It was a dream of mine to hear my voice against film and to see it enhance an emotional moment. I think classical training influences my dynamic power and with experience singing in cathedrals, I crave long dreamy acoustics." In 2018 Honora wrote and recorded an album with longtime friend, Andrew Huston of their duo Huey x Honora. The project is on hold, but there are plans for the future. Currently, Honora is writing as Holland (Holland Musik) in a creative project with Tomas Costanza of Killingsworth Recording Company. In 2019 our cover of Plowed by Sponge was featured in Grey’s Anatomy, season 16.
Honora plays cinematic new age and electronic pop characterized by soaring classical vocals and atmospheric production.
Notable tracks include her breakout single "Tearing Us Apart," which has been featured in television shows across networks like MTV, ABC, and Freeform.
