Julian Vaughn is a dynamic lead bass player hailing from Kansas City, who has established an international reputation since bursting onto the music scene in 2010. With a career spanning 16 years in the smooth jazz genre, Vaughn's distinctive style blends elements of smooth finesse and funk, honed during his time performing in churches where his grandfather and father served as pastors. Having extensively toured the U.S. and abroad, Vaughn takes pride in his ability to both write and produce his music, aspiring to be recognized as a talented songwriter and producer in addition to his prowess as a musician. He has released a total of 8 albums, with 8 Billboard #1 hits - five as a solo artist and three as a featured artist, alongside numerous top 10 chart placements. In 2020, Vaughn claimed the #2 spot for Artist of the Year and had two of his tracks, "Afro Calypso" and "Afternoon Delight", rank #2 and #17 respectively on Billboard's Songs of the Year list.
