KOOPAH’s story begins with Jamaica. Raised in Brooklyn with Jamaican culture at the center of his life, KOOPAH grew up surrounded by Caribbean music and Gospel before discovering a voice of his own. Today, the Jamaican singer-songwriter creates Afro-Caribbean fusion—a feel-good blend of Soca, Afrobeats, R&B, soul, Gospel, and Jamaican influence. For KOOPAH, crossing genres is about seeing how far his Caribbean roots can stretch without losing where he comes from.
