A high-energy, underground techno artist.
Maite Dedecker (20) from Bree, Belgium, is a techno DJ with a clear artistic vision and a rapidly growing national and international presence within the electronic music scene. Her sound is defined by powerful peak-time techno, tight grooves, and subtle acid elements, enriched with influences from psytrance, retro sounds, and Eastern vocal textures. This fusion results in dynamic, technically refined sets. Maite draws inspiration from artists such as Charlotte de Witte, Patrick Mason, Marie Vaunt, Joyhauser… Her musical journey began at a young age, strongly influenced by her father, who was active as a DJ. Before breaking through in the music scene, Maite pursued a professional dance education at the Royal Ballet School of Antwerp and the Brussels International Ballet School. Following an injury, she shifted her focus entirely to music, further developing her artistic expression. Maite has performed at renowned festivals and stages such as Tomorrowland, Ostend Beach, and the Lokerse Feesten, as well as in leading clubs including Vaag, Kompass Klub, and Garage Club. In addition, she has released music on international labels such as Black Hole Recordings and Kurai Records (Marie Vaunt’s label), as well as on the legendary Belgian label Bonzai Records.
