Come As You Are 🫂 Mat Eclair began with a coincidence. In 2017, Holger Crüger was looking for a roommate in Aarhus when Daniel Bolander answered his advert. They came from different parts of Denmark and approached life in almost opposite ways, but music quickly became the foundation of their friendship. Their apartment became their first studio, and two very different people began developing a common language. That contrast still shapes every Mat Eclair record. Daniel is calm, analytical and exacting; Holger works through instinct, emotion and relentless ambition. Together, they make house music built equally for movement and feeling, combining driving drums, euphoric synth melodies, unexpected turns and vocals performed by the duo themselves. Their aim is to make records that feel unmistakably theirs before anyone knows who created them. After years of quiet persistence, unfinished ideas and music shared to almost no response, they found their sound by refusing to chase what was already working for others. Come As You Are grew from that same conviction: choosing emotion over formula, curiosity over imitation and identity over expectation. Their ambition reaches beyond the club: to build a world around music that feels euphoric, open and unmistakably human. Their music has received support from names like Chris Stassy, Riordan, Omar+, Julian Fijma, ChaseWest, Odd Mob, Marsolo, Robbie Doherty, Acraze, Martin Garrix, Tiësto and Murdabeatz.
