Emerging from the Southern California music scene, Melt Mars is the brainchild of Brian Ortiz, a home-recorded project shaped by curiosity and a love for exploring sound. Bathed in the sun-soaked nostalgia of the region, early releases flowed naturally, capturing moments as they came. Over time, Melt Mars developed a sound that blends laid-back guitar parts with lush synths, weaving in experimental textures and psychedelic tones. The music balances gritty rock energy with smooth electronic elements, creating a space that’s both grounded and explorative. Staying true to its DIY roots, the project keeps music immediate, spontaneous, and full of character.
