Otto Hejnic is one of the sought-after European drummers, with a base in Prague Czech republic. He composes music for films and also plays the piano. After graduating from the Prague Conservatory, he received a scholarship to Berklee College of Music in Boston at the age of 22. Unfortunately, he didn't use it. However, he lived and played in the USA for a while. He recorded his debut album in New Orleans. He plays all possible styles, from rock music, through pop, groove, latin and jazz. He has performed on many stages across the USA and Asia. Since 2009, he has been leading his Otto Hejnic Trio, with which he has already recorded 5 albums. From 2021, he has another project in addition to his trio: Otto Hejnic Organism. Where New York Hammond Organ player Brian Charette and Welsh saxophonist Osian Roberts excel. They released their debut album Beringia in September 2022. "Otto Hejnic Trio" For their original and energetic sound, OH3 is one of the top European piano trios. They have 5 albums to their credit, and a number of concerts around the world. The trio was founded in 2009 by top Czech drummer Otto Hejnic. He addressed two excellent players, the Czech double bass player Josef Feco and the Slovak pianist Ondrej Krajnak. "Otto Hejnic Organism" Otto composed the theme music for the new Beringia album. It is a mythical country that stretches between North America and Asia. Organism was on a European tour in September 2022, where they played 18 concerts.
