Red Ripper is a Polish heavy/glam metal band founded in Warsaw in March 2024. Fronted by founder, guitarist, vocalist and lyricist Sonya Cherri, the band delivers a blend of classic heavy metal power and the theatrical attitude of glam. The current lineup consists of Ness Nasty on bass and Saul Prowler on rhythm guitar. Since their formation, Red Ripper has released three singles, produced two large-scale music videos, and played a massive number of live shows across Poland, sharing stages with some of the country’s most recognizable names in metal. With a growing reputation for unapologetic performances and an old-school approach Red Ripper are bringing their own brand of heavy metal, to the growing New Wave of Heavy Metal scene.
