Remain Untamed

A bunch of old men playing hardcore thrash? Even closing in on, well uh…not so young anymore, we still remain untamed! Mature bodies, juvenile minds so to say. A true Haarlem legend BRUTAL OBSCENITY reunited for a select few gigs back in 2015. These gigs sparked the fire for more. Together with Patrick on guitar, Ernst decided it would be cool to continue playing some old school crossover metal and so REMAIN UNTAMED was born. After adding Stein (drums, ex-BRUTAL OBSCENITY, ex-EGGHEAD), Hans (guitars, ex-T.C.F., ex-S.O.S.) and Vinnie (vocals, ex-S.O.S) the line up was completed. REMAIN UNTAMED aims to please if you like your hardcore punk thrash metal the oldschool way. Inspired by bands like D.R.I., Suicidal Tendencies, Anthrax, S.O.D., Excel, Exodus or even Slayer, the music is fast, furious and mosh-able. 2018 marked the release of the first self-titled debut EP on Headbangers Records, received to universal praise it contains 5 original tracks. 2021 REMAIN UNTAMED returned to the studio to record the highly anticipated 7-track follow-up “New World Order”, featuring a more polished sound, slightly more thrash influences, including an contribution of Bernemann (BONDED, Ex-SODOM) and cover art by world renowned artist Mario Lopez. Early 2024 they were confrontated by the sudden death of their bandmate Hans. The band decided to continue as a fourpiece for the time being.
