Sophie Holloway

Sophie Holloway is a singer-songwriter from the Shotley Peninsula in Suffolk, a very beautiful place where not a great deal happens. She first picked up guitar while at university, in the midst of Covid. Before long, she was writing her own music, inspired by the melancholy of 60s folk and the drama and raw emotion of 90s alt-rock bands. Her songwriting has taught her that words do actually mean something and can have an effect on people. It’s a craft she hopes she can spend the rest of her life honing. She is now living in London with her two flatmates, who know her lyrics better than she does and account for the majority of her streams. [email protected]
