Suzy Q was a Canadian studio project formed in the early 1980s, spearheaded by producer Jerry Cucuzzella alongside various vocalists including Michelle Mills, Angie Vileno, and Carol Jiani. The project defined early Hi-NRG and Italo disco sounds with driving synthesized basslines and anthemic club vocals. Their enduring dancefloor tracks like Get on Up and Do It Again remain vital touchstones of electronic disco history.
