A homegrown, underground riot grrrl act.
Fiercely feminine, The Cherry Club is a rock trio out of Southern California. Fronted by vocalist and guitarist Jessica Werking, Alexandra Ayscough on drums, and Emily Conway on bass, this band delivers a sound that channels the feminine angst of the 90’s grunge scene with a uniquely modern and melodic indie voice. The band began in Los Angeles, playing weekly shows in the DIY scene and bar clubs, proving to be a formidable force and an explosive act in the underground music community. With powerhouse vocals from Jessica Lauren Werking and an unforgettable stage presence, the girls quickly made a name as one of LA's independent bands to watch. After performing in the respective corners of Los Angeles with over 50 shows under their belt from 2024-2025, the band now resides in Santa Barbara as their home base, where they are wrapping up a debut album set to release 2026. With a collection of the music they’ve written over the years set for release, the group is anticipating sharing their dynamic range and setting the tone for years to come, with the relentless friendship that shaped them to be the band they are now, The Cherry Club.
