An underground rock act.
The Foxholes started in 2006 in Barcelona, being a standard rock lineup, they had experimented with tons of music styles: from rock to electro, from new wave to progressive rock. Led by Jonah A. Luke, the project has worked with musicians like Maese 1001 (X-fasic), Francis Matas (Rainbubble, The New Raemon, S.ym), Anna Pons (Green Dragonfly), and the list goes on. In April 2009 The Foxholes released their first self-produced album, and since that time the project has released another ten, including Radio Cincinnati (2015), Un Mal Menor (2016) and Sci-Fox (2017), each produced by Txosse Ruiz (No Way Out, Zimt, Mount Analogue). They released Konzert (Live) in 2020, a show recorded in Feb 2019 in Barcelona, mixed under confinement due the COVID-19 situation. But in Sept 2020, they released Cruzada and Who Do You Think You Are? singles, from Foxholesque album. In 2021, they released Hex. An instrumental concept album about witchcraft and sorcery, feat. Quarz and Elvira. Three years after Hex, they recorded and released Flora i Fauna (2024), featuring El Propi Misteri as main single, returning to a harder rock style. Official lineup since 2017 is: Jonah A. Luke on guitars and vocals, Ángel Millán on drums & Max "Mojo" Moritz on bass.
The Foxholes play an eclectic blend of progressive rock, art rock, and hard rock with experimental touches, as highlighted on their album Flora i Fauna.
