The Motor Show

Some years yonder, the band was founded by the talismanic ranchero, Beau Vine. These days, he’s riding shotgun, backseat-driving The Motor Show. Having fallen into relative obscurity in the early '90s after his second marriage ended expensively, legendary guitar-for-hire Beau Vine resurfaced nearly 3 decades later, plying his trade on a cattle farm in East Anglia. Not yet ready for the frills of fame, but eager to play music again, Vine put together a group of young locals to be his buffer. He branded them, The Motor Show. The band draw their inspiration from artists like Fat White Family, The Monks, Viagra Boys, Ennio Morricone, Tammy Wynette, Parquet Courts, Brian Jonestown Massacre and The Gun Club. The Motor Show revs up a gritty mix of garage fuzz and backcountry twang. A late-night joyride gone wrong. Music to crash your car to. They have been featured in The Quietus, Kaltblut, and EARMILK, and championed by Emily Pilbeam on BBC Radio 6 Music and Jess Iszatt on BBC Introducing London. Known for their high-octane live shows, they've shared stages with English Teacher, Fat Dog, Ditz, and Etran de l’Aïr. They've also performed for promoters like Bad Vibrations, Permanent Creeps, and Club The Mammoth, as well as with the in-house teams at venues like The George Tavern and The Boileroom.
