The Remnants

Hailing from the glitzy, glamorous, beautiful, some would say famous/infamous streets of Slough, Berkshire. The Remnants are friends, Mark Fletcher and Alex Rice, on off bandmates for over 20 years. At their very first practice, in Dec 2019, something just clicked and ‘The Remnants’ were born! After recording 3 rough versions of Mark’s songs, with Alex singing and playing some lead guitar and harmonica, Mark sent the “Re-worked” songs to Heavy Traffic Music, as instructed, and received a, shall we say, enthusiastic response, within hours, asking if the guys would like to cut a record! months later, now signed recording artists, having currently released their debut record as well as featuring in magazine articles in the USA, and receiving airtime, as well as filming and recording live sets for radio stations globally, these two larger than life, musical enigmas, are getting the recognition, acceptance and success they truly deserve, as they bravely, stoically try to keep real, live, acoustic music alive!
