Behind the hypnotic and experimental pop project Ulmenthal is Tallinn-based singer-producer Eeva Trei. Her sound is rooted in pop, R&B, and EDM, with the ambition to carve out a truly singular sonic identity, inspired by visionaries like Frank Ocean, Kate Bush, and FKA Twigs. Ulmenthal brings her inner world to life through dreamy textures, soulful melodies, and unusually coded rhythms that reflect her path from choral music to jazz studies. Disregarding conventional genre labels, she calls her music hypnopop or sad disco. Ulmenthal's self-produced debut EP 'All My Dreams' brings together four years of work — soft-spoken mantras and full-bodied sounds that create an intimate, mysterious atmosphere. In autumn 2026, Ulmenthal will release her full-length debut album, a deeper introduction to her introverted world.
