The international award-winning Latvian youth choir BALSIS, led by Ints Teterovskis, is known for its bold and creative performances. Founded in 1987 by Kaspars Putniņš and Māris Kupčs, the choir quickly gained global recognition, winning the BBC’s “Let the People Sing” Grand Prix in 1991 and releasing acclaimed albums, including Christmas Joy in Latvia, named one of Rolling Stone’s top 25 Christmas albums.
