The jazz-metal quintet Panzerballett, led by Jan Zehrfeld, has gained a worldwide cult following in the progressive, math, and jazz-fusion scenes. Known for their original works and complex "Verkrassungen" covers, the group combines technical precision with musical humor. Joining them is the influential drummer Virgil Donati, a boundary-pushing artist recognized for his work with Steve Vai and Allan Holdsworth. The performance features their ambitious album, "Übercode Œuvre," which blends jazz and metal with technical radicalism and compositional depth.
