Formed in New York by a Chinese-American producer duo and relocated to Barcelona in 2021, Shanghai Restoration Project brings their boundary-pushing electronic sound to Doctor Pla i Armengol Gardens as part of La Mercè 2026. For their European debut together, they are joined on stage by local collaborator Angelo Manhenzane on percussion alongside Ghanaian dancer Abdul Basit, presenting their project Gentes que danzan o juegan, cuando pueden.
